1.4 Conflict Minerals Compliance
To communicate ATX's conflict minerals management requirements, the ATX Corporate Policy for Responsible Conflict Minerals is posted on our company website.
Conflict Mineral Requirement
ATX communicates conflict mineral policies to our suppliers through our website. The suppliers are required to comply with ATX Corporate Policy for Conflict Minerals and establish their own conflict minerals policies and to their own suppliers. We also require our suppliers to actively assess and validate their supply chain, and encourage them to source minerals from Smelters or Refiners (SoRs) that have received "conflictfree" designations by the Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP), or other independent third party audit program.
Due diligence
ATX Group has established a due diligence framework in accordance with the " Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas " developed by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Through this due diligence process, in addition to identifying/evaluating our own supplier risks and responding to and mitigating the identified risks, we have also designed a supplier conflict minerals checklist based on the OECD Due Diligence Guidance process, and through document audits, we have counselled our suppliers to establish a management mechanism that complies with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance.
